The Task:
Students are to create and design a webpage using the web program "Glogster". Students will be asked to work in pairs or individually depending on each activity which will be posted on their webpage.

The following outcomes and indicators will be used to process and evaluate the overall "Glogster" webpage:
Activity 1- What is Gold? : Students create a mind map from synthesising and researching the subject matter.
Activity 2- When and Where was Gold First Discovered In Australia? : Students create a timeline by researching specific dates and information.
Activity 3- Influence of Gold on Australia Identity and Heritage: Students individually research the influence of Gold on Australia and comment on its impact pre and post the event.
Activity 4- Edward Hammond Hargraves and the Gold Rush: Students research and synthesis information to create a character profile for Edward Hammond Hargraves.
Activity 5- Life on the Goldfields: Students create a literary recount basing information around the Gold Rush era. Students research a particular aspect and write from that viewpoint.
